Generalized crystallization is the process of crystal formation in solution, and there are generally two methods of crystallization: one is the evaporation solvent method, which is suitable for substances whose solubility is not significantly affected by temperature. The method of "sun drying salt" in coastal areas is utilized. Another method is the cooling hot saturated solution method. This method is applicable to substances whose solubility increases with increasing temperature. Salt lakes in northern regions have high temperatures in summer and no crystals appear on the surface of the lake; Every winter, as the temperature drops, substances such as alkali (Na2CO3 · 10H2O) and saltpeter (Na2SO4 · 10H2O) precipitate from salt lakes. In the laboratory, the method of slowly lowering the temperature and slowing down the crystallization rate is often used to obtain larger complete crystals. Therefore, the crystallization tank is a reaction tank with heating and cooling functions. Crystallization tanks are divided into heated crystallization tanks and cooled crystallization tanks. These two structural forms are the same, with the difference being that the jacket heat transfer medium and reactants are different, and the temperature is also different.
2、 Structure composition and characteristics of crystallization tank
Crystallization tanks are generally made of high-quality stainless steel S30408 and S31603 materials. The inner surface of the equipment is mechanically polished to Ra ≤ 0.4, and the lower head of the outer surface is mirror polished. The straight cylinder is treated with a matte finish. The structural form of crystallization tanks generally adopts a vertical structure, some with upper flat heads and lower conical heads, some with upper and lower standard elliptical heads, some with upper elliptical heads and lower conical heads, and some with upper and lower conical heads.

The tank support forms include leg support, support support, ear support, and skirt support. The stirring system adopts a stirring form suitable for product crystallization formation. Common stirring forms based on material characteristics include anchor stirring, scraping wall stirring, pushing stirring, frame stirring, etc. The mixing motor function ranges from 0.5kw to 105kw. The motor reducer adopts a well-known brand, with low noise, no shaking or vibration. According to the size of the tank, the connection form between the tank body and the head includes container flange connection and welding production. Manholes, frame mirrors, feeding and discharging ports, spare ports, cleaning ports, mirror lights, etc. shall be provided at the top of the tank according to the needs.
